Our Summer in America!

Well, summer has officially been over now for almost 2 weeks:( I wasn't ready for it to end, but what can you do?:) Luckily, we have once again been blessed with amazing teachers and all 3 kids are so happy! And even though summer is over, we can definitely say we lived it up and made some awesome, awesome memories!! Oh man, we had a great summer!! Family, friends and lots of eating and shopping! It just went way too fast. Thank you so much mom, dad, John and Marilyn for letting us invade your houses!! We loved every single minute we got to spend with y'all and really appreciate  y'all putting up with all the suitcases and extra mouths to feed!
We did so much this summer, it would take way too many words to tell all! Instead, I will just overload this post with lots of pictures!!

We left Daddy in KL to work, but he joined us a few wks later in America!

There is nothing quite like being home! We were immediately surrounded by our favorite people in the world!!

  Poor Jake got sick on the flight over. Luckily it was just the last 30 min, but he ran a fever for the next 5 days. Then Lily got it, followed by srtep for Lily and strep for Ella. Not exactly what we were planning on, but that's ok!!

Jack got lots of love this summer! 

 Once Jake was better, we headed to Galveston for a couple of days to hang out with my sister and her family. The kids were thrilled to have some cousin time!!

These 2 were inseparable and always sharing clothes!

We got back to MeeMaw's sick again, but strawberry milk and movies made us feel better soon!:)

We celebrated Lily and PaPaw's birthday at my uncle's house again this summer. The kids had a blast playing in the pool and just being together! Cannot believe I have an 8 yr old!!

All the cousins on my side spent the week together at my mom's house. They had a blast playing games, watching movies, eating and just being silly! It was one noisy house!!!

The following week, MiMi arranged for us to go to visit a Dairy Farm in LaGrange...so fun!! Unfortunately, MiMi got sick and couldn't go. We had a great time though feeding the animals, taking a hay ride and milking a cow! Also just running around and acting crazy:)

We spent the rest of the week with all of Brent's family together! Uncle Richard, Aunt Lisa and Will even came down to stay! We had a great time swimming, playing around at the house and even spent one morning at i-Fly, a sky diving simulator place:) All 3 of our kiddos flew! Brent was so proud!!

MiMi wanted to do a cousin's birthday party since we are not able to go to each other's parties throughout the year. The kids definitely did not object to more birthday celebrations!!

We were so excited to be able to spend some time in RoundRock at my sister's house too! The kids love sleepovers with cousins:) We did lots of playing outside, eating candy and homemade ice cream and spent one day at an awesome waterpark!

We also had tea parties and did lots cooking and baking!

We were so glad we got to see so many friends while we were here too!! Once again, the time went way too fast so we didn't get to spend as much time with everyone as we would have liked, but the time that we did get to spend with our sweet friends was wonderful!! There were lots of ladies nights, playdates and shopping dates:) 

I had a really hard time leaving America this time. Don't get me wrong...we are happy here! Very happy!! We have amazing friends and are getting see things and places I had never even heard of. But, we are so fortunate to have such an amazing family. A family of happy, silly, crazy-fun people that we absolutely adore and miss so much!

We are now back in the swing of things and doing good! School has been back in session for a wk and a half and the kids are so happy!! We were so excited to see all of our amazing friends back here in KL and I do admit sleeping in my own bed feels really nice:) We also had a fabulous trip to see some friends in London on the way back...my next post!
